Different culture compared to when I started

Pros

I would say a pro, from a sales perspective is you can work remote, they have great benefits, and it can be fun to work at an EV Charging Company. They make traveling to clients very easy and make it easy to get expenses back from traveling.

Cons

Unrealistic goals and started getting treated terribly. I feel like they don't have a clear path in success as a company. No transparency and just overall not treating people with respect and threatening jobs, or even trying to demote you.

Pros

Open culture of debate, good people and great industry to work in... Doing your part in changing the world is a great motivator to come to work everyday.

Cons

Debating things and getting approval from multiple stakeholders frequently delays projects. Favoritism, politics and hiring employees without the required skill set. Some teams work 30 hrs per week others have to double up to 70 hrs. Leadership has differing priorities.

Long Hours/low Pay inability to take time off

Pros

If well-managed, the company has the potential to be innovative and thrilling in the future of EV Charging.

Cons

The compensation is inadequate, and employees are required to work extended hours, during quarter end. During the month of quarter end and the last week of month end, some Accounting teams are prohibited from taking any time off. This essentially means that vacation time is inaccessible for half a year. If you value your time off, it's best to avoid working at ChargePoint. The larger number of accounting personnel in India compared to the US causes issues with work delays and annoyance due to time zone disparities.
