Pros

It’s fine. Salary is fine. Benefits are fine. Work is fine. It’s a steel mill. Focus on safety is good.

Cons

The messaging from upper management has footer very “peppy”, emphasizing “one family, one team”. The actions of the organization tell a contrasting story, though. Focus is on outside hires, without much internal upward career mobility. It’s just a job.

Really flexible if you are a student! Pays well, always snacks on the job. Have fun events including family cedar point outing.
