Pros

Good benefits (quarterly gain sharing). All employees are able to take the green belt six sigma training the company provides in house through their continuous improvement department.

Cons

Lack of direction by management. Finance department and operations do not have good communication on company goals. Operation managers want to fixed the problem in the process at the front-end but finance wants to backtrack the process and put undue pressure on operations. Finance has unrealistic goals for operations.

employees were a part of the Team environment. They seemed excelled when they had a say in the decisions that were being made.

Cons

Management turnover. Each change meant relearning what your new manager wanted you to do and say.

Pros

The owners care about the employees. There are little perks that make a difference.

Cons

Although, it is rated as a "best company to work for", they push employees to vote. The largest group (Charter Steel) are bullies (at least in the HR group). They expect you to do whatever they want, even if it doesn't mean the best for the group as whole. They bring interns in, to start them 'drinking the Kool-Aid' at the beginning of their career. Unfortunately, this means they are unaware of what actually happens in the real world and prevent process improvement.
