Pros

Decent vacation allotment. Products and services complement each other. The company likes feedback from employees and modify systems based on suggestions quickly.

Cons

Immediate manager does not provide timely feedback or make effort to coach to better performance. As a new person at Chase it is disconcerting to be left to your own devises, but expected to have the appropriate result.

Pros

JPMorgan Chase is a strong brand, recognized all over the world. They have good benefits, especially medical. The culture of the firm is also very positive.

Cons

Being a bank branch financial advisor takes a lot of patience, because you are dealing with "savers" and not "investors". They also push hard for you to sell product. It is a very transactional type role.

Pros

Opportunities to make good money. Easy job to be hired for without any experience. Good benefits and extra freebies and discounts.

Cons

Incompetent managers, district managers. Sales and NOT service for customers. Demeaning sales practices. Lack of communication between upper management and bank employees. Company pretends that anything is possible if you finish the program, but while in the program you are developing virtually no applicable skills.
