Pros

chase has good health insurance. the fact that there is still a retirement plan (pension) and 401k is also a plus. if you are a banker and you meet your numbers and are always, at work you do okay and its almost a guarantee that you will still have a job tomorrow.

Cons

I dont feel that I am ever treated like I am doing a good job, because my boss will never tell me that. I always hear about what I need to work on. My branch is slow, the people are old, like 70 plus or young college students. There is no in between so it makes it hard to sell online bill pay, or get someone to buy a house and very hard to get investments. I feel that I live @ the branch. and when I ask for a transfer, im ignored. Im worked to death for no reward in return

Pros

JPMorgan Chase has fabulous benefits that are offered from 30 days after you begin employment which is nice. They subsidize quite a bit of the benefit cost. The interview process was relatively easy and there is a lot of ability to advance within the company.

Cons

The prescription plan isn't great. Some of the branch managers are way under-qualified for their jobs, while upper management is much more suited. Part of the downside of working for such a large company is communicating with all entities such as human resources, troubleshooting, banker support, etc.....

Pros

The benefits are pretty good.

Cons

A lot of politics going on. A lot of gossiping and backstabbing. Senior management does not spend enough time with you to help you be successful, even when you ask for it.
