Pros

Stability. Great benefits. Schedule flexibility Well known successful corporation to work for.

Cons

It is a big corporation so you can't expect a 'personal' treatment, but it would still be nice if someone would listen to you. Compensation plans are way too low for an employer this size, especially for loan officers and their assistants attending leads from banks. Retail Mortgage has extremely outdated operations (processing and underwriting), causing lengthy delays and making customers go elsewhere, all this hurting your commission pay of course. Management would NOT respond timely to the staffing needs, even though their hiring process is not lengthy at all.

Pros

Compensation is great compared to other financial institutions. Chase has a very broad opportunity for advancment at a quick rate. Of all the managers that I have worked for, most are very understanding and balances personal life and work life very well throughout the employees

Cons

JPMorgan Chase has slightly longer hours than every other bank. Because there are so many great employees working for chase, when an opportunity for advancement does come up the fight for the position is very competitive.

Pros

Job opportunity, opportunities for promotion and advancement, stable company, benefits and some paid time off, thorough training programs and willingness to train, management willing to work with employees for scheduling and other issues

Cons

Payroll and incentive programs do not consistently deliver as expected (loopholes), the priority of the teller job is primarily sales oriented, micro-managing the trickle down of criticism felt from top to bottom, more of a retail job (commission, sales, "making your numbers") than a financial job
