Pros

Chase is obviously a very big brand name. It was a huge help having that name behind you, especially in the financial services industry. With the big name, came many options for benefits. You will have numerous options for health insurance, 401k and Roth 401k, Employee Stock Puchase Program, etc.

Cons

Working in a branch is just like working for a retail chain, such as Wal-Mart, Target, etc. There is little to no flexibility on scheduling. The branch is always under-staffed for bottom line purposes and you are forced to work before or after each and every holiday, so make sure family time is a low priority or that they live close to the branch. Sales numbers are exagerrated in the hiring process, as is the career development planning. There are few bankers that constantly hit 100% of payout structure and there is a huge waiting line and bottle neck for advancement opportunities like most big corporations

Pros

Great benefits, wonderful training. Top notch support in keeping up to date with licensing, as well as industry standards for product knowledge.

Cons

One size fits all compensation and benefits packages. What you see is what you get, regardless of competency and experience.

Pros

The job security is okay.

Cons

Management don't have plans at all, everything is last minute. Management thought they could ask you to work as much overtime as they wanted without any compensation. There's no work life balance and no growth potential at all.
