- smart people you can learn from - purpose-driven culture. you aren't here just to just make money, you are here to make a difference in the financial markets - good compensation - freedom in technology choices so you always feel like you are learning.

Cons

- you need to be patient with the interview process. It can take a while, but it's worth working through it.

Pros

Chatham is a fantastic place to learn and interact with some of the greatest minds in financial services. The structure is completely team oriented, with open concept deal floors (no one has an office). The teams range from industry veterans to recent college graduates, which allows for multiple points of view and thinking. Chatham has recently enacted new training and learning materials that really benefit recent hires, and allow for a deeper understand of the core business. Leadership is easily accessible, and the CEO is often found walking through the deal floors. Work/life balance is not an issue, as the buildings generally clear out at 5:30 PM; and there are many social activities offered for employees both during and after working hours.

Cons

It is hard to really find a negative at Chatham, as the leadership team is constantly asking employee opinions and open to feedback. Health insurance is a bit pricey, but it is offset by and allowance and HSA account. There seems to be some issues of knowing employees outside of your immediate team, but I believe that stems from Chatham's recent growth. Therefore consider mixer groups or lunches during the first few months to ease the transition.
