Pros

- lots of nice, humble people that are really good at what they do - high bar for performance / talent - exciting product strategy / growth plan - interesting problems to solve - we're really leaning in to AI - lots of opportunities to develop skills to future proof your career - 1 month sabbatical after only 3 years!!

Cons

- fast pace of work / rapid pace of change can be a little chaotic and creates risk of burnout, especially when people are covering for others due to attrition/leave - no 401K match - comp sometimes feels a little low for the level of talent we're trying to bring in our and our high performance standards, though it sounds like leadership is trying to improve that

Pros

Strong alignment to company values - humility, connection, ownership, grit, transparency. Creates a very collaborative and positive culture. Also, solid business - growing, profitable, and AI adjacent

Cons

Things are not perfect, and sometimes decisions change quickly (also a positive. Sometimes there is technical or process debt that could be fixed that prevents us from moving fast.

Pros

True Work-Life Balance: Unlike many high-growth tech companies, Checkr actually respects your time. You can work on massive scale without the typical burnout culture. Hybrid culture. Good benefits. Lots of connection and events Business momentum: The company is firing on all cylinders. It’s rare to see this level of profitability paired with aggressive scaling and a shift into a multi-product business. Fascinating domain: If you like data, this is the place to be. Leveraging the People Data Graph presents unique, complex challenges that keep the day-to-day work interesting. Strategic expansion: It’s exciting to see the pivot into different verticals; it feels like we are just scratching the surface of our market potential.

Cons

Building the plane while flying: Because we move so fast, formal structure and processes often lag behind our growth. If you need a rigid manual for how to do your job, you might find the "move fast and change" environment a bit jarring. Ambiguity: Frequent pivots, you have to be comfortable with a bit of evolving priorities.
