-Mission driven work. What Checkr provides impacts tens of millions of job seekers every year. You get to make a difference. -High autonomy work for ICs. -Product Org is impactful to the business. -Writing heavy culture, where you can read about all major decisions across all functions of the organization. Transparency is a core value of the company. The business is performing well in an established market and exploring venturing into emerging markets. A good place to be if you enjoy mixing 0-1 work with 1-100 work.

Cons

-Fast paced environment, which is not for everyone. -RTO is now 3 days a week with a lot of distributed teams. Office conference rooms often packed with single person zoom calls.

Cons

Given past layoffs and a recent CFO change, there can be some uncertainty around job security. At times, it can feel abrupt, one day a well-liked employee is here, and the next there’s an email noting they’re no longer with Checkr.

above-average benefits, including free lunch and free ppo insurance, etc.

Cons

Depends on how big of an ego of your boss, there could be no work-life balance. Junior employees could really suffer from toxic positivity and no guidance. This is the first time I have a job where everyone was so open about hating the job and wanting to leave. Extremely high turnover, a lot of employees left within a year.
