Pros

Checkr attracts talented, smart individuals. No 401k match but lots of other fancy tech company perks. Compensation was fair.

Cons

In-fighting between executives makes it difficult to make significant change. Leaders throw each other under the bus rather than admit mistakes. Public shaming is accepted as a performance management tool. Constant staff and executive turnover -- multiple c-suite hires didn't even make it past two months.
