Fun Environment & Fast Pace

Pros

Good/work life balance, Flexible scheduling, Fast Paced, & Managers are awesome. You can pick up shifts if extra money is needed. Great for College students. If you need to transfer due to relocation or personal reason you can. Promotion to bar tending if you work hard for it.

Cons

2.13/hr which is most server jobs, & training isnt that great. Tips are poor due to food cost being so low. Be sure to turn tables for more tips. Check back & check down.

Pros

You can learn a lot from your peers. Most managers are willing to share information and help you succeed. Pay is even with competitors. Volume is high.

Cons

Depending on your direct management, dont expect much clarity in the way of direction. Most times I called another DM or a recent Manager to get an answer. Turnover is high and the information from the corporate office may or may not get to you depending on the Manager on the receiving end. Some like to play cyoa if you know what I mean. Very eye opening. My KM was very picky in who she hired in every way. As far as Manager schedules, Corporate has rules and guidelines but again depends on who has seniority or pulls the ropes in your location. And guests always get free what they want if they cry enough or make threats.
