Where to begin? The company just completed its 5th round of layoffs and for the 5th time has shared that it's "the last layoff". Nobody is safe, not even now. The company is bleeding money in medical costs but refuses to give centers resources that would help achieve their goals. Imagine me telling you to read a book and then I blindfold you and then get angry with you because you can't read, that's ChenMed.

Where to begin? Long hours, no training, no communication, and promises of bonuses have not been paid in a couple of years, but the team stayed for the patient, and the company took advantage of that commitment. The family obviously couldn't run the company properly. Tone deaf when they make videos in their mansions talking about serving the poor...SMH, especially sharing them with employees who are working hard to care for patients but scared the axe will come down on them too and living paycheck to paycheck. Culture is every man for himself. Staff are fearful and Love, Accountability, and Passion is just a feel-good slogan - not reality. Layoffs are how they celebrate the holidays. Leaving hundreds of people flat-footed, tired, stressed, and broke.
