Gave paychecks on time, but rarely rarely gave any other promised bonus of any kind

Cons

Weak benefits; Very few holidays; Disorganized work structure and management; Disrespectful office culture; Unfair work payoff and promotion opportunity; Mandatory slogan and work on site policy; And they fired good standing employees/eliminated positions without negotiation or warning all the time.

Depending upon role, certain positions have opportunity for bonuses, but this information is all included and documented at time of offer. All of our team members are eligible for ChenMed Cheers points which allows employees to recognize each other and exchange points for swag items, gift cards, and other prizes. ChenMed observes 7 holidays and offers 3 floating holidays after completion of 1 year of employment. We always look to improve based on feedback from our team members!

Bad culture, bad work/life balance

Cons

Bad culture, very disorganized, no quality control between clinics. Being forced to accept any patient that comes in the door, like walk-ins who are not true urgent care walk-ins, and patients who are hours late to their appointments, even if it's because of scheduling errors of staff. Staff bosses doctors around.

Thank you for taking the time to reflect on your past experience at ChenMed. Walk-ins can be a challenge when you have a full patient panel, but often there can be instances or cancellations that help compensate for that. ChenMed will never turn away a patient that needs care and couldn't make it on time. To reject a candidate that needs care, is not in our values. We certainly understand this can be challenging at times, but the commitment to VIP care for every senior inspires our teams to adapt quickly, work together and provide amazing care.

referral coordinators get along feels like family walking thru the doors

Cons

everything is number driven, highly stressful environment, demand too much with little pay, managers do not care about staff or appreciate hard working people, absolutely no opportunity for growth in referrals.
