Our clinicians work on a points system for patient visits that takes into consideration the travel time between patients & documentation time so that it can all be done within an 8 hour day. If there is a day that a nurse sees 8-9 patients in one day, it is likely due to moving their schedule around from another day. We have recently added a Nurse Educator to our team that can help with difficult patients when other clinicians are not available in the area to assist. The Nurse Educator can also help with time management skills for those having trouble with charting up to QA standards.
