Pros

You can learn how bad things can be so you can be more grateful when you find your next job.

Cons

Let me count the ways: Disrespect. The CEO literally thinks everyone else is stupid. He is the King of micromanaging. He actually no literally reads every email. Everyone is afraid to talk to one another in any way other than on their personal cell phones. Have a question? How dare you? Got to their intranet and find the answer there... except often the answer is no where to be found or the information is incorrect. If you inform them it's incorrect, do they thank you? Not a chance. You are monitored constantly like you are on actual probation. Forget to fill out one field in the CRM? VIOLATION!! When you travel on the weekend, which is constant to get a day off that you're entitled to in their policy, you have to ask within 48 hours of your return or they won't give it to you. There is a rule for EVERYTHING. Though they pay for your airfare and hotel you must pay for anything else, food, additional hotel deposits. In one month it was often well over $600 and you then had to wait a month or more to get your money. I literally could go on and on and on. When I closed my first sale, I had some questions about what the client would be experiencing next. How dare I ask!!! Just trust the process. But it was worse than that, I got reprimanded in emails with the world copied in for wanting to know what was going to happen next. Truly unbelievable.

We are sorry that you had a bad experience at our company. From a business travel standpoint, as you state, the company makes all the reservations and covers travel costs, such as airfare, hotel, and Lyft / Uber expenses with the exception of food. Complete arrangements are all done by our travel team with no involvement of the salesperson (except to make the choice). The food expenses are fully reimbursed by the company on a monthly basis and there is nothing else that is outlaid by the salesperson when traveling. While several of our salespeople travel extensively, it is rare to see anyone accumulate $600 on food expenses for a month. We do have procedures defined for our sales team and encourage them to reference these well-published processes. These are updated regularly and revisited every week on our sales calls. In addition to published processes, we have a team of more than 5 full-time members (called our Enablement Team) to answer and assist our salespeople at any time. They do have a daily stand up call offering assistance to any of our sales members for any question they may have. In addition, as a NAM you’d have a director of sales that is very reachable to you, should assistance be needed. While you seem to claim you closed one sale, we do expect our team members to meet well-defined and established quotas on a quarterly basis. It seems like we were in a relationship for more than a year. We are sorry that you had to leave us, but we do wish you the very best in your personal life.

Worst Company to Work for

Pros

The pros are only the benefits, such as health insurance and 401K

Cons

They so badly structured it makes the whole company a disaster. Everyone is terrified of the CEO so they will do as he pleases even when he is dead wrong. The managers for all departments are only managers cause of the length of time they have worked for the company and definitely not based on competency. They will never give their employees a compliment for a work well done and not even an email saying happy birthday showing a little appreciation but they will surely send a million email telling you everything you've done wrong including small details. I would say it might be a good place to start and get experience so you know exactly what you don't want in any future employer but honestly, I would just stay away altogether. Horrible experience.
