Cons

Company is moving to Houston, not being honest about it. Middle management is cut throat, and is misleading executives on many topics .... as such, execs out of touch of what the real problems are.

Good benefits. Good training opportunities. Offices are top line, anything needed is provided.

Cons

It's their way or the highway . . . drink the purple Kool-Aid or leave. Upper management reaps hundreds of thousands, if not millions in benefits and stock options while the little guy gets nothing. Complete disregard for the worth of each employee, only the big guy benefits. Posters everywhere saying, "The Chevron Way", kind of like, "Big Brother is watching, so do it our way."

- Lots of internal mobility (including cross functional) and other job development opportunities - If you are at the company 5 years or longer you are vested in pension earnings

Cons

- Outdated and ineffective processes - Lots of tenure (employees with 20 + years) often resulting in environment resistant to change and innovative ideas - Dental insurance plan for US employees is horrible
