The Chevron Way has lost its Way

Pros

Compensation, benefits, training; challenging professional environment and generally good employees

Cons

Absolutely discriminatory to pregnant women and quickly put you on the 'Mommy track' even if you are 'leaning in'.... No common sense in expat assignments (sent to a place with no day care available with two small pre-school kids and told it is not their issue). Highly political and no longer skill-based assessments in some functional departments.

Pros

Multiple career paths with a variety of opportunities to grow. Intellectually stimulating work that has an impact. Intelligent people who treat each other with respect. Chevron "walks the talk" regarding our values and the Chevron Way.

Cons

The decision-making process can drive some people batty, but the result is good decisions overall.
