      Pros

      Good people and good pay if you are an employee. You can learn a lot an there are good opportunities if you are willing to move around.

      Cons

      Lots of red tape. Hard to get things done. Upper management makes huge changes that drastically alter your work environment and job with little or no explanation on why.

      Pros

      The people at Chevron are the best reason to work at Chevron Products Company. The operatimg facilities are what generates revenue for the company, strong there is strong collaboration. This is also the most commonly cited reason among those who have chosen to make their career at Chevron. In addition the company holds to its ethics, has 9/80 schedule as standard, competitive medical, bonuses based on individual and organizational performance, and matches 401k contribution up to 5x and maximum 10%. Performance drives career opportunities.

      Cons

      By the nature of working for 24/7 operation facilities, work can have very significant peaks that coincide with maintenance events and have on-call duties. Regulatory and external political environment in CA is highly unfavorable.
