Pros

My work experience in Chevron allowed me to learn about a lot of things not only from the technical side of things but for the management side of things as well. I was able to enhance my skills on a project management perspective even if I have a strong background in software (technical side).

Cons

My employment was cut short after a misunderstanding with application of policies - in particular to contracts made when was sent for work abroad. The company insisted on their position even if it is not compliant to the country where they are operating. Also, some supervisors take it too personal especially on accountability. One can easily blame an employee even if the real accountable for a situation is the supervisor.
