The "Christian" image is little more than a marketing ploy. It was not a reality within the business I worked This business was no different than any other big corporation I have worked for. You will be worked right to the second of being considered a full time employee to avoid paying any benefits. No one got them that I was aware of. None of the friends I made within the business who I could speak frankly with had a positive view of the business. I was never allowed to take my second "ten" the entire time I worked there. Which legally is a breech of contract based on what you are told. Even pregnant women who are with child will not get so much as a penny of additional compensation upon giving birth. They are just guaranteed to not lose their job once they give birth. I was raised in a Christian home. I saw no real reflection of Christian values in this company whatsoever. I will never buy a meal from this company again. The leads . . . not the owner at my location were highly condescending. I was worked like a dog and spoken down to the entire time I worked there. It was a non stop and steady stream of negative reinforcement. Overall this was probably the most negative work environment I have ever endured. The kitchen seemed understaffed by design to squeeze every cent out of the employees to the extent that if one person was not present the kitchen would barely be able to function correctly. By the time I got off of work I felt beaten down and disrespected. You literally could have someone die and not be able to leave without leaving the place in peril. Employees who berate and beat down their co-workers and talk to them like they are a piece of garbage seemed to excel. There were times I was in the back quietly working and the person who was supposed to be the "lead" would make derogatory comments about me loudly to other employees. I will never so much as buy one sandwich from this company again.

For the role that the Owner/Operator wanted me to fill, the pay was atrocious. Not much room for creativity, since everything has to be run past Chick-fil-A's Custom Creative (which makes sense). It can be hard to utilize technical/digital marketing skills because of the emphasis that is put on planning community and in-store events. And it was discouraging when I had to work "on the floor"/in operations instead of being able to focus on Marketing.
