Pros

For the last 40 years CCRC has been able to assist families with finding quality childcare, provide child development strategies and strengthen our communities. I am proud to work for CCRC. As we keep growing and are able to offer more programs and serve more families, promotional opportunity arise. Many promotions are able to be offered internally because CCRC has great staff who care. I hope whoever reads this decides to apply and joins us in making a differance.

Cons

It can be difficult when funding is limited for our families. I know CCRC advocates for our families on State and Federal level and are using current resources to best meet the needs of the community.

Pros

I have been working at Child Care Resource Center for 10+ years. I have stuck with the agency because of the environment set forth by my peers, excellent leadership, great benefits, work/life balance, training development opportunities, growth opportunities (although it is tough with the amount of staff and competition for the promotion), and knowing the impact my work has on children, families, and the community.

Cons

Implementing changes is an extensive and grueling process. The cons in regards to salary and inability to enroll more families into the program is out of the agencies control since funding based on Federal, State, and County budget. One of the biggest cons is parking although executive team is constantly looking for ways to improve the situation.
