Pros

The work environment is great. The people are friendly for the most part and management does a good job of keeping you in the loop about stuff that may affect your job. They provide good benefits for the family, and are reasonable when something comes up and you need flex time.

Cons

Cons- that it is a nonprofit and you don't make much compared to others in the same position else where. Plus, the job security really depends on the state budget.

Thank you for your feedback. We, too, believe helping the community is a pro. We have been working to try to increase support and professional development of our staff over the last few years, and have implemented a new benefit structure and programs, including an Employee Recognition Program, which has received a positive response from employees. We will continue to take into consideration the feedback of the staff and make every effort to continue to evolve.
