Pros

The people who work here are extraordinary. They are kind, compassionate and work very hard. Working with the kids can be very fun and rewarding. This company does a lot of good for kids and their families.

Cons

This job can be very physically, emotionally and mentally draining. No breaks and sometimes even bathroom breaks unavailable. PTO/UPTO and wages weren’t exceptional but decent. Raises were not great. With cost of living increase I made about the same to when I started. The health insurance is ridiculously bad. It’s expensive, there is a very high deductible and it doesn’t cover family at all.

We also agree the people that work here are extraordinary, kind, compassionate and work hard. We pride ourselves on our learners, staff, family and the community. Since 2021, we have been able to provide lunch breaks, increased benefits and more pay incentive opportunities. In addition, we pay 70% of health insurances. Thanks for your feedback!

Pros

I love this company, I love the people, and I love the kids. There are so many paths for growth within the company and always opportunities to continue to learn and grow within yourself…as long as you want to. I always enjoy the supervision time provided as it can truly feel like collaboration between myself and supervisor. They always make me feel heard and supported, and some will ask our opinions on programming. This job is hard, but rewarding. Working with these kids will always be my passion and CAC continues to help foster that passion.

Cons

I do struggle with the pay, and no longer being guaranteed 40 hours has been a true hit that’s been hard to work through. This would be my only reason for leaving the company, which I’m sad to say is a real possibility.
