Work 4 days 10 hours a week

Cons

Hard to get PTO approved and summers are really busy and give you a limit to be off during the summer

Thank you for sharing your experience as a Perioperative Assistant with us. We’re glad to hear that the 4x10 schedule was a positive aspect of your time with us. We also understand that time-off flexibility is important, especially in roles that experience seasonal volume changes. In perioperative areas, summer demand can be especially high, and we work to balance patient needs with team members’ ability to take time away. Feedback like yours helps inform how we continue refining scheduling practices and communication around PTO planning. We appreciate the care you provided to our patients and wish you the best in your next chapter.

Pros

Benefits & pay, working with children

Cons

The culture of the ICU was toxic and at times I felt like I was being bullied. I was also training new staff shortly after getting off of orientation myself.
