Doing great work for the kids we serve, which at the end of the day is why we're here. Opportunities to move around but get promoted.

Cons

Some hand-picked leads that develop egos, the ideas of many ideas at the table are frowned upon in favor of a few. Not listening to experience.

Pros

The mission of CHW is hard to beat. It is a very friendly culture. Very positive.

Cons

Salaries are at market or below. Being a non-profit organization, they fall back on the "it's not about the money, it's about the kids" mentality. To an extent, that is true. However, when you need to compete for top talent in niche positions, sometimes it is a, at least a little bit, about the money.
