Unprofessional promotion process overshadowed by experience

I was hired as a Lead Preschool Teacher, but was verbally promoted to Pre-Kindergarten teacher.

Cons

I thought I was the Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, but just to find out she hired a new Pre-Kindergarten teacher, and inform the parents on Sprout About bulletin. This was very unprofessional. It actually hurt my feelings. I was rehired, and was excited to finally get the job I been wanting. Just for someone younger and only have 8 years experience to get it. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching for 16 years..

The pros are Good teamwork among a couple of teachers and our assistant director and team lead always guide and help us out.

Cons

We are out of ratios constantly, and under pay especially for the people that have been working here for this company a long time in other words a pay raise.
