Pros

Not enough to justify the cons.

Cons

Was never given the wage agreed upon in interview. Was given absolutely no training, but was "trained" by the now GM. Any questions I had about performing tasks were met with dismissal. Asking how to make XYZ was met with "You've never made XYZ in your life?" Any mistakes on the line would get you thrown into the back.

Pros

Chipotle was my very first job (I’m 17) and I absolutely loved it! It was so fun working with new people everyday and always seeing and helping out the regulars. I think the best part about working at chipotle was learning about how to give the best customer service and really making chipotle a great place. I loved working here in terms of customer service and working with the food.

Cons

Managers take their job WAY to seriously - no one is going to die from making a couple mistakes. I understand they are working for a corporation but I mean come on... it’s a minimum wage job. However - the biggest con of working here was having a manager who holds grudges and will not give you the best hours if you make one mistake or get on his/her bad side. It was quite unfair working here due to the fact that I was given the least amount of hours out of all 20-25 people that work there. Overall, make sure you kiss butt and get on your managers good side!

Pros

good team environment, free meals and a 50% additional discount at home store. food and customer service experience, flexible hours. good entry level work, camaraderie. can move up (but why would you)

Cons

big, constant, and poorly communicated changes from high up, unreasonable standards with no support, constantly changing management team (3 GMs in less than a year, 3-4 Field Leaders in 2). high burn out rate and poor pay for long-term crew members and unending hell for any manager actually trying.
