SOME benefits, and recent pay increases

Cons

SOME benefits such as bereavement. Chobani does not recognize aunts or uncles as family for bereavement leave, regardless of if they raised you. Yet when the new policies were introduced, HR management said that could be handled case by case. Now this is being denied to a co-worker, as chobani didn't put it in black and white. I highly recommend that all employees start recording these meetings, where you are lied to by the company HR. Also, HR plans to start hiring for lead and above positions from outside the company. There goes motivation to get promoted, so employees will only do just enough to keep their job. BAD move. This backfired last time, why try again.

Soul crushing, life sucking and toxic leadership. Leadership is clueless on how to properly support their workers and will throw anybody under the bus to make themselves look good. HR doesn’t do anything to help. If you are salary, they will use this to force you to work whenever. I was forced to wake in the middle of the night at 2 am to work then work a full day multiple times and expected to be able to function. I took PTO then was told I was not meeting expectations and abandoned my team even though my manager approved it in advance. No wonder so many out of state people move here and leave immediately after their two year contract is up. Don’t waste your time.

Pros

You will gain so much experience from the start, and have a lot of opportunities to contribute. It is a very open communication culture from all levels of leadership which can be rare! Chobani does a wonderful job of giving back and producing quality food which helps motivate you to do well for this company. If you have the opportunity to work here, take it!

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but having experience going into a job here is helpful as the company is for self-starters and there is no formal training. Most your training will be on the job.
