      Pros

      You get to interact with different types of guests every time someone enter the lobby, same goes for every time you answer the phone.

      Cons

      Showing your employees that you appreciate them more and offer a better pay for those that have been there longer especially seeing that these types of jobs have a high turn around rate.

As a franchisor, Choice Hotels International does not own or operate hotels franchised under its brands, and the hotel staff are employed by the independent owner of the hotel. We recommend that you provide your feedback on the applicable brand site on Glassdoor (e.g., Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, etc.) and identify the particular hotel at which you were employed.

      Great people but out of touch with tech

      Pros

      Great coworkers with little office politics and drama. Most of the time is spend coding with minimal meetings.

      Cons

      Our technology decisions are hurting us. We recently switched cicd providers and our team’s velocity has diminished. Now we cross our fingers that a configuration hasn’t been altered every time we deploy to an environment.

      Alot of great experience but work/life balance terrible

      Pros

      Great learning experience, lots of internal growth, friendly work environment, and lots of cross departmental work.

      Cons

      Work life balance not so good, too much cross departmental work and over working is normal
