      Work, Work, Work...For Nothing!

      Pros

      It is good to meet people from different places and learn about different companies that they work for. It's also good when you have guest who are nice and talk to you during your shift. Employee discounts are very helpful when traveling because it helps to save a lot of money.

      Cons

      There is really nothing to earn while working. It's hard to get a raise, you do not earn paid time off, and you do not get any benefits. In order to book a room under your employee discount, you have to have your manager send you a link through e-mail, and sometimes they act like you're being bothersome when you ask. At my hotel, there is so much negativity and it an be a very hostile environment. Whereas it used to be a fun place to work, everyone seems to stressed and unhappy for a low paying job. There isn't a lot of praise, although guest write nice reviews online, however, when there is one simple complaint they come down very hard on us making us feel unappreciated.

      Pros

      Strong tech focus. Great exposure to development projects and innovation. Decent opportunities for advancement.

      Cons

      Small, dumpy work spaces in Phoenix. (about 4ft of desk space). Losing some of the appeal that brought a lot of people on recently.

      Pros

      The people are great. The facility is very nice.

      Cons

      Fear of losing your job every day if you make one boss angry or do not do her bidding. Training was abysmal. Team leads were not qualified to answer half of the questions. Team leads would work from home, but were unreachable in a crisis. Team supervisors hated the manager and the fighting was obvious.
