      Pros

      The work was interesting. We were always looking for new and creative ways to do things. We had a large budget and a lot of flexibility.

      Cons

      The is no management training and it shows in insecure, disorganized, unfocused management. Carefully plan staffing rather than hiring/layoffs each year. Make sure people are set up for success and that their skills match the job requirements.
