Helping patients, great clinical staff.

On-call is over used, plan on working those days. They "share" you to other floors often, it's like being at a different job because each floor is run, and managed differently. They can't keep staff. Money is not the only issue, most people will turn down extra pay for picking up hours. This is just scaping the surface. I'm sure most hospitals are having problems right now. To just simply state that "we appreciate you" on random wall monitors does not make up for taking away your vacation, and cutting of some of your benefits for over 6 months. I hope they and the rest of the country's health care figure things out, because I would be scared to go to a hospital right now.
