Pros

I worked with a good team who got along well with one another. Very good reputable physicians who care about patients health.

Cons

Upper management is horrible. They expect too much for nothing. Raises are very small. Not appreciated for hard work and dedication. Short staffed.

Pros

there is a sense of pride when part of the regions top healthcare facility -there are some good people here who have been around a while and still believe in the mission

Cons

-high turnover at the top levels of the company. so the people at the top of the hospital arent even happy working here -high turnover at all other levels of the hospital. most of the good people leave -benefits are always being cut -raises are small -managers play favorites -not enough staffing -managers too busy and stressed to give you the time of day -advice:work here if you wanna be underpaid and overworked. no such thing as work life balance at christ.

Appreciate your nurses

Pros

The coworkers and the team I work with is the only good thing about this hospital. If it weren't for my coworkers, I would leave.

Cons

Understaffed and underpaid. We work overtime every week to help out with staffing issues, but are offered no incentive or recognition. The floor I work on gets sent the worst patients. We have the sickest, most confused, and most non-compliant patient population. The float pool nurses say "it is the worst unit in the whole hospital and the highest acuity". Our turnover rate should speak volumes because very few nurses stay after they finish out their contract. Since Mike Keating has taken over the CEO position, the nurse satisfactory has gone downhill. What Mike Keating doesn't realize is that the nurses are vital to this hospital. Patients appreciate seasoned nurses, yet the turnover rate is so high. As long as he gets his paycheck, he does not care if the staff who actually run this hospital are satisfied with their jobs.
