Pros

Mostly, the people. From the top down. Everyone feels they make a difference in the life of the organization's members. From member development to member services, the mission is the passion for all employees.

Cons

The only place where I felt there was room for improvement during my time there was interdepartmental communication. That could be different now, though. Still, it wasn't insurmountable.

Decent compensation, but lower than industry Decent benefits, could be much better

Cons

Constant rotation of leadership Over reliance of on consultants who don't share beliefs or culture, degrading our mission and purpose Horrible hiring and advancement choices resulting in the absolute wrong people in places of leadership
