Pros

Provides standard benefits to employees

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Raises are minimal (around $1), leaving experienced nurses still under $50/hr, while others in the same unit earn significantly more. Management shows clear bias and favoritism, which creates an unfair and discouraging work environment. Concerns about equity and fairness are dismissed rather than addressed. Heavy workload with little recognition or reward. It’s a high school with bullies leaded by managers.

Pros

There is no pro in working here. I would not be surprised to see news for workplace discrimination soon

Cons

The managers needs a class to how to manage not just unit but people. They have the most polarizing and biased people hired as managers who openly show favoritism. They nominate people who cause patient harm to best nurses in Delaware cause the nurse is closer to management. The worse manager I have ever seen gets recognized for being best leader. It feels like a bad joke. They are retaliatory, god forbid they say anything to anyone they make your life miserable. The cardiac ICU has the worse culture of all. This hospital works like a corporate, which I don’t understand cause they are non profit. All practices boils down to the end of year bonuses for executives and managers. And nurse are the bottom of the food chain. They buy a new crozer outpatient hospital and next day the incentive for nurses goes down. They make you jump hoops like monkeys to get $1 pay raise. The managers are extremely discriminatory.
