      Local, Large network, MAGNET recognized

      Cons

      Focused on the wrong things (expanding their "empire" not retaining staff). Terrible Nurse to patient ratios, unsafe to the point that a travel nurse even left the hospital prior to her assignment being complete. Focused on customer service and patient reviews; not actual health of the patients. Patients have unrealistic expectations of what a hospital actually is used for anymore.

      Pay is decent but not great. Love my team members. PTO & benefits are a big plus (except that you have to use your PTO for the “paid holidays“) They don’t pay for your holidays you do!

      I have worked for CC for over 14 years now. 5 years ago if you had asked about my job and my boss I would have said I loved it! I recently went through a rough patch in my personal life during COVID and the leader of my department took it as a “personal inconvenience” and quite literally turned on me. Very Toxic & Vindictive Leadership The toxic leaders are “untouchable”. The overturn in the department the past few years has been astounding, yet no one cares to find out why. Like I said, toxic leadership is simply allowed to happen, and there is no real recourse for the employee when they are treated badly, or when they are personally being treated like trash!! Excellence & Love are just words if you don’t follow them.
