Pros

- Fascinating company - Every day is different - Work flows through in peaks and troughs, so you can be run ragged one day and twiddling your thumbs the next (might be seen as a pro or a con depending on the individual) - The people are amazing to work with, hugely supportive, energetic and generous with their time

Cons

- Disorganised at the top level - Constantly subjected to change (i've had 12 line managers in the last 5 years) - Very political - Very beuracratic, unless a Senior Manager or Director needs something, in which case all protocol goes out the window - Still has an "old boys network" feel about the place - Very backward in it's technology and IT approaches

The reason why I am working at Christie's is because the company provides room for career development. Without career development, how can an employee contribute to a company?

Cons

There are no negatives about this company, except for the fact that the work can sometimes get tedious at many times.
