Pros

Everyone is so kind, creative, and supportive. Very positive work environment day to day. Great benefits and time off. Interesting industry to be a part of. Can build great career experience.

Cons

The pay is not great, even as you move upward. Responsibilities can be overwhelming. Sales team could use a lot more people hired.

I made lasting and lovely connections with amazing team members. The books themselves are fantastic and Chronicle Books truly has an amazing grasp on the National Gift market.

Cons

Communication on pathways to promotions could have been improved. While there were efforts made to bridge the gaps between departments, it would have been nice to see more events, brown bag lunches, and communication cross departmentally.
