Pros

Great co-workers, great 1st line managers. Okay 2nd line manager (two really don't know what they are doing.) Pay is okay for some but not equal across the board, per experience and ability, as it should be. Great insureds and policies.

Cons

There is so much wrong with middle and upper property management! I'm not sure how Chubb has survived for so long, but it's finally catching up with them. Middle and Upper Property executives have little to no background in property, and its very evident in their poor decisions and ever changing silly demands. According to most of the women, the Good Ole' Boy system runs supreme. These executives are oblivious to the realities of what goes into handling property claims, especially field claims. They constantly assume all claims are simple and quick to resolve. Instead of admitting to their poor decisions, they blame the overwhelming file load on adjuster poor time management skills, laziness, bad attitudes, etc. This is not supposition, they actually tell us this. The executives' lack of experience became very obvious with how they failed to plan for Covid-19 and the catastrophe season. And it was the final straw for most property employees. It's why so many have left and the rest of us are looking to get out.

Pros

Some nice people work there

Cons

Hard workers that are knowledgeable get dumped on. Other employees (who should have been let go) get less work, are not asked to work on extra projects and are not expected to help train new hires. Thats all put on the few enpmoyees that are good at their job. You are not compensated for it either. You get the measly increase each year like everyone else. They dont trust their employees enough to let them work from home either.
