Pros
Bank holidays off, the last day of the month the company buys you lunch, but you also will be working through lunch. Also a year end bonus.
Cons
Very competitive environment, everyone covers their butt and will not hesitate to throw you under the bus to do it. One co worker even purposely hid a file with a mistake I had made so that when it was discovered, it would be an enormous problem. The worst thing is, it was actually her job to double check that everything was completed on the file, so actually she wasn't fulfilling her responsibilities either. She then took my position when I was let go.
