      Worst company I've ever worked for. Do not work for them!

      My contract placement is great.

      Cons

      They don't honor hiring contracts (job placement, salary, bonus, reimbursement, etc). Once you're hired, they dump you in your position and pretty much never talk to you again. No support from HR or management. I've called and emailed my manager multiple times with no response - they never get back to you - ever. The equipment they give you is garbage. If you leave or are fired, they cut your benefits immediately - benefits are supposed to go through the end of the month. All they do is make excuses and blame employees for problems. Worst company ever.

      Pros

      Great team of people to work with! We were making great progress growing and opening new accounts. The company had been in business for 43 years with many employees being with the company for 10+ years.

      Cons

      Company Filed Chapter 11 and was sold to HTC Global. Ciber was acquired by HTC with the intent of increasing revenues to $1B. Shortly after the sale they laid off several sales people and Regional Vice Presidents. Nearly all of the Ciber management is gone and the transition did not go very smoothly.

      Pros

      The people are definitely the best thing about this company. It's hard to find a company where you enjoy everyone that you are working with as well as the work you are doing.

      Cons

      The ceo and upper management just sabotaged this company from the beginning. boustridge has absolutely NO clue what he is doing. Look at the history of the stock price and it is just sad what he has done to this great company in such a short amount of time. Was this deliberate? This company ground in just under $1 billion per year right before he became ceo. Less that 4 years later it sold for $93 million. #winner right? We also seriously blame the board of directors for keeping this idiot in place. Each meeting we were expecting them to toss him but they didn't. Why? Does he have something on some of you? Why did you let this continue to happen. So during his time he has cost 1000's of jobs plus $100's of millions plus for of losses to stockholders. Again, #winner I hope no other company is foolish enough to take him on as ceo. If you do then you deserver to fail.
