      Sadly, they are not organized, and their business model does not work for the type of work they are trying to do.

      Pros

      The people! In an environment that serves Microsoft and T-Mobile, where much of the work force is contingent staff, some amazing, smart, versatile people have worked at these companies through Ciber.

      Cons

      Ciber does not seem to know how to keep business coming in any longer, and so discards many of the brilliant people who do consulting work at MIcrosoft for them.

      Pros

      It's a government contractor, so the bennies are really good and you're guaranteed a basic performance review (i.e., potential for a raise) every year.

      Cons

      Your manager sets the tone for your unit. If they're team-oriented, dedicated to helping everyone do a great job and positive, it can be a really great place to work. But if they're all about their own ego and love managing through gossip and threats, well, you'll find yourself earning every penny of that paycheck.
