Pros

Cinch has the MOST truthful and trustworthy management I have EVER worked for. Never before have I worked for a company that genuinely cares, so much, about their employees. We all work together to provide harmony between taking care of our homeowners and taking care of ourselves. Cinch acted extremely quickly, to keep us safe, when COVID started to threaten us. Cinch really is a great place to work.

Cons

There aren't many cons to working at Cinch, honestly - however one of the very few would be scheduling. Sometimes you can't always get the schedule, or times, that you want, however - there are ways to get the schedule you want and still enjoy your job!

Pros

Not many. This company is a stepping stone for most and in that respect it works. After working at Cinch, most other jobs will be amazing by comparison. If you learn to survive there, you'll be able to thrive in almost any other chaotic environment. I truly am grateful to Cinch in that regard. It toughened me up, taught me a lot about corporate politics and navigating through incompetent leadership especially when they sweep ethical actions aside.

Cons

I could write a novel. One of the main ones is that the employees are truly not valued and that comes from the top down, especially within the HR department. The HR department itself is a mess, seeing almost a 90% turnover rate 2019. The atmosphere within HR trickles out to the rest of the company and that's truly why the corporate culture is hostile and incredibly toxic. The operations department doesn't care about their employees, and this population makes up almost three-quarters of the company. They're overworked and mentally abused. Operations preaches a high-performance culture, but in reality, it's just an excuse to squeeze whatever they can out of employees and provide them with nothing. Everyone is in a constant state of fear of being fired. The company is a revolving door at all levels - from the executives all the way down to entry-level call center associates. Your job offer and whatever agreements you've made with leadership upon accepting the offer aren't always honored. A lot of employees didn't get bonuses and a lot of those who did, got theirs cut dramatically. Job titles and descriptions can change on a whim. People are fired left and right. Rarely any room for growth, which is why people usually don't stay longer than a year. Many people have joined and then resigned within a week or two. In the contact centers, this is even more amplified.
