Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We take all feedback seriously, as it helps us grow and improve as an organization. After reviewing your post, we noticed that it references a recruiter role with a tenure longer than one year. At this time, none of our current recruiters have been with us for over a year. This may be due to a misunderstanding or reflect a past experience that predates our current team. Regardless, we’d love to hear more about your experience and ensure we address any concerns you might have. If you’d be open to discussing this further, please feel free to reach out to us directly at connect@teamcinder.com . We are committed to fostering a positive and transparent environment and appreciate the opportunity to clarify any confusion and learn from your insights.

Pros

The staff was friendly and quick to respond to any of my questions or needs. This is a great place to get started and get some good industry experience right out of college.

Cons

No cons stand out in my mind.

Pros

Hybrid schedule allows for working from home twice a week. Flexibility to make up hours if you have appointments during the workday. Quarterly lunches provided, which are a nice perk. Good compensation, especially if you're looking to break into the tech industry; it looks great on a resume. Depending on the project, there are opportunities to work with relevant technologies and improve processes. Everyone I've interacted with at Cinder has been a pleasure to work with.

Cons

No upward mobility, with very limited promotion opportunities unless you find another job. Increasing restrictions on work flexibility over time, which is frustrating. The work environment at the company I was contracted at is unpleasant—it's loud, cold, and lacks sunlight. As a contractor, you can sometimes feel like a second-class citizen at your own workplace. Constant layoffs, roughly every six months, and even key contributors are not immune. Drastic increases to quarterly goals recently have put the team under significant pressure and scrutiny. Full-time employees at the company I contracted at have been dismissive, with some unpleasant interactions.
