Pros

I was a manager at a Century Theaters for 5 years. The best part about the job was how much experience you gain, and the employees. You will meet a lot of friends here. Free movies, soda and popcorn. Management gets to screen movies before they are released to the public.

Cons

You'll learn quickly that the company is very large, and they couldn't care less about you. Praise will never happen. Even if you come in for someone who called out, go above and beyond to help customers, or just do an overall amazing job... not even a thank you. Very low staff moral and very poor, uneducated, slack-jaw upper management. My advice, get in and get out. Worth if for the experience, but don't expect a career here. Also, hope you enjoy working nights, weekends and holidays. You will not have a family life with this job and they will judge you and take away promotions if you request even one day off.

Pros

Free movies and popcorn if "privileges" aren't retracted.

Cons

Management are pricks! They like to abuse their authority by yelling at their staff, over random things that isn't their fault. If you want to advance into another position e.g. becoming a manager, your only chose to become one if management favors you. So there isn't any chance of advancement. Coworkers love to gossip and are cliquish since majority of them graduated from high school and attends community college. Entitled customers that will love to make your life miserable i.e. yelling at you for no apparent reason, creates huge messes for their amusement , and will ask the most idiotic questions.

Free movies, good coworkers, plenty of hours, flexible schedule (except for weekends, you should be available on weekends)

Cons

Minimum wage, very small raises (could be as low as a 10 cents), poor leadership, rude customers, very late hours.
