      Unprofessional management. and okay co-workers

      Pros

      The only exceptional thing working there is the privileges that is if it isn't annul. As for coworkers their okay, but can be cliquish so get along with some of them.

      Cons

      Management are pompous and intolerable! They will treat employees unfairly and will exert authority for their own amusement. They will schedule more hours to the employee whom they favor and will give less hours to the unfavorable. Advancement will be granted to the favorable employees, while the unfavorable will be passed over. e.g. if the favorable employee was lazy but friendly with management he/she will be promoted while the unfavorable employee whom is diligent with their work will be passed over, since they weren't chummy with senior management.

      Pros

      As an Usher I spent most of my time cutting tickets, restocking the concessions, and cleaning the theater. The biggest pro to working as a Cinemark Usher were never being being bored with my job because Ushers alternate duties such as cutting tickets, cleaning the theater, and restocking and helping concessions.

      Cons

      The main con to working at Cinemark was that not only would we work all holidays, but holidays were the busiest times for us.

      Pros

      -flexible scheduling -great co-workers -good management opurtunities for those who are willing to work for it -workers comp. -free movies -good management this was my first job and i have enjoyed it so far, the people i got to work with were awesome, and management was very understanding and helpfull.

      Cons

      -low starting pay, though that's par for the course for part time. -hours are seasonal, though not arbitrarilly so, more people watch movies during the summer so thats when we work more hours. this is more of a first/weekend job to suplement another more steady income source.
