Great employees, narcissist CEO

Pros

Employees work hard and care about helping others. Management is usually flexible when you need to take time off or work from home.

Cons

The CEO is so wrapped up in himself he can't see what great employees he has working for him. If you can't bring yourself to brown-nose him, don't bother coming here because he fires people on a whim without caring about facts. It could be a great place to work, but the CEO ensures everyone is afraid of losing his/her job and refuses to act like a professional.

Pros

Coworkers. Interesting technology. Diverse clientele (small business such as hair salons, wedding planners, restaurants, travel agents, etc). Middle managers are trying their best they can given the situation.

Cons

Company is surviving because of investor funds. Heavy reliance on outside sales is never a good sign for a business model and does not offset high churn (clientele struggling to make subscription payments). It seems that marketing efforts are geared to attracting new investors instead of new customers.
