Pros

- Decent benefits - Good job experience to leverage for next job. If you work here recruiters look for Cintas people. - Had a great manager - Great co-workers - My location put career plan together

Cons

- Incentivized to be dishonest. No one talks about how unethical you have to be yo hit goals by filling cabinets up with stuff accounts don't need but everyone does it. - The job can wear you down to the point where you really don’t care. - don’t pay you for your first hour of driving to or from 1st account. - If your leaders don’t like you they will black ball you. Didn’t happen to me but happened to others. - Honestly not great pay for the work (love to hire service industry people who are used to working hard and terrible hours for their money) - KPIs are confusing - Terrible PTO 56 hours for 2 years non negotiable - Terrible training salary and bad pay for how much your work and type of work - If your not good at playing the corporate game not a good job - Ongoing training is redundant and very annoying after awhile - If they want you to write 3 service agreements a month and you write 5 nothing carries over to next month. - Revolving door. - Accounts are leaving because of how expensive product is. - Sales people are stressed.

Do not do it

Pros

Great benefits, great hours, work/life balance.

Cons

You bust your butt for pennies and are expected to hit unrealistic goals. You’re constantly losing customers left and right because Cintas pricing are through the roof. They started focusing on lost business a lot in meetings because of a competitor called Thompson safety that is making its way through the US. It’s a bunch of old cintas partners that got fed up with cintas and decided to open up their own First Aid and Safety business. In my opinion, at the rate this is going, cintas won’t even be a thing in 5 years. Lastly, they preach about promoting from within, and promoting the partners that work hard for them, wrong. Only the partners that break the rules and aren’t doing well at all will get promoted. Oh, any the ones that drink on the job. Yes, I said it, they promoted a partner that got caught drinking on the job. I wish I could make this stuff up. If you want to constantly feel gaslight and unappreciated, this job is for you,

Good, not great

Pros

I like the people I work with. I work at a location with very knowledgeable and tenured leaders. Benefits are fine and keep me covered. There are locations all over the place.

Cons

Pay isn't very strong. The company seems like they don't want to compensate people for the amount of work they do. VERY reactive and not proactive. Technology is slowly coming around, but it will hold you back from completing work. "Hurry up and wait". MT program should be re-evaluated. I don't feel knowledgeable enough to take over a plant or operation, and they stick you in sales so you can't develop that part and eventually you're burned out.
