Regular customers become irritated if they come in everyday, buy the same thing, and have to listen to a sales pitch every time. Upper management policy and store level reality are two separate worlds. Management wants you to keep hot dog rollers and hot sandwich dispensers full, and coffee pots full all night long. If you did these things you would waste so much inventory that the district manager would freak and demand to know why there is so much inventory loss.
